Harrogate Choral Society, the premier choral society of our region, performs four concerts a year, and always with professional musicians to ensure that each concert achieves high critical acclaim. We also sing in the highly successful Harrogate Christmas Concert with Harrogate Symphony Orchestra which provides a unique opportunity for hundreds of young singers to perform with full orchestra in a large auditorium. Naturally the choir are rehearsed and trained throughout the year by professionals in order to maintain its high standards. Staging concerts, which includes venue hire; advertising; publicity; insurance; professional soloist and orchestra fees, is costly. Income from ticket sales, that have to be priced realistically, do not fully meet the expenses incurred by the Society and, as a not-for-profit arts organisation, we are dependent on the generosity of members and supporters. There are benefits in becoming a sponsor of Harrogate Choral Society. These include: tickets to our concerts; hospitality; the opportunity to meet the artists; and the publication of your name and logo in our publicity material. We offer a number of standard sponsorship packages, although we are happy to modify any of these to suit your specific needs. If you would like to discuss how to become a sponsor, please contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone Nick Brown on 01423 360150.
Leaving a gift to Harrogate Choral Society in your will
Whether as a singer, a supporter or a member of the audience you will already know the enjoyment you have experienced, perhaps over many years, from our concerts and events. Did you know that you could help to enhance the activities of the choir by leaving a gift to the Society in your will? Such a bequest, however small, would be a wonderful way to pass on your love of choral music to future generations. If you would like to support Harrogate Choral Society in this way, you will require the Society's Registered Charity Number which is 1164776. For further information, please contact the Society's Treasurer, Gill Walsh
