Rehearsal Room for HCS Members

Please note that any in midi files on this page are for the personal use of HCS members only, and not to be copied or distributed to anyone who is not a member of the Harrogate Choral Society.

Rehearsal material for the Leonardo concert  15 June 2024

David has created some midi files to help you learn Cecilia McDowell's Da Vinci Requiem and we have bought some midi files to help you learn the Eric Whitacre - Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine

To use these click on the link for your voice part to hear them play.  HOWEVER  as they are large files it would be helpful if you could download the files you need to your own device and play them from there as the bandwidth we have with our web hosting may not support the whole choir playing them at once!!

To download hover over the file, the right click and choose  "Save as"  then save to somewhere on your device where you will remember where it is!

Older Files
At the bottom of the page are midi files for works - which have traditionally been part of our repertoire  - from Choral Classics.  These were created by our now retired in house midi file expert Robert Brown so although the notes have not changed David may wish to insert different breath marks if we use them in the future.  Please note that for some of the YouTube links adverts precede the actual music  (nothing we can do about that!)
